Let's discuss the subject.

«My Koan Horoscope»

(available in Taoísmo en Español)

1. Even if you try to hear it, you can't do it. (Ch. 14 / Emptiness)

2. If you can beat any, you won't see the end of this cycle. (Ch.59 / Bad luck)

3. I alone am stubborn and incompetent. (Ch.20 / Bad luck)

«From Yama Uba»

Valet
[To the audience]
I am from Kyoto.
Do you know who my lady is?
You must know her because she is a very famous singer, Diva the hag.
Ah,h,h.
Now you know.

«Interpretation»

Emptiness - Bad luck - Bad luck.

Do you wonder what stupid thing you are doing in life? Do you wonder whether it is hopelessly useless? Do you wonder what decision you have to make professionally or personally? Do you wonder what the purpose of life is? Zen Master Ikkyu's answers to the questions are quite simple. In Yama Uba, life is represented by the singer, Diva. Tao which projects your life is represented by the hag. If you try to listen to the hag's song, or Tao's song, you cannot hear it. Since the sounds belong to the holographic sphere, you need an interpreter. Sometimes, he is a singer. Sometimes, he is a mountain. Of course, he can be you; not the true You, but your own self projected as the holographic world. Behind every decision you make, there is the hag symbolizing Tao. If you know this mechanism of Tao and Hologram, you can beat anyone because your own self is the world. You are as stubborn and incompetent as the mountains and the rivers. Chaung Tzu
says: "Don't move until you are forced to." Think about this profoundly. Who is moving? Are you really moving? Do you have to move?

Please try Koan Horoscope (although it is in Spanish).

Thank you for the post Naoto. It seems lately I've been seeing tao in a lot of things. I also love that quote by Chaung Tzu, very helpful when I forget about the mechanism. I have an off-topic question to ask:

What is an indicator that you are having resistance? or is there more than just a single indicator?

thank you!

Thank you for your question, Rinor-san. A good question!

But be careful. You may be caught in a modern-day cartesian trap.

If you allow me to answer the question with a little cynical repartee, your question is exactly an indicator: the desire to judge and control the situation.

Nevertheless, don't worry. Your desire of judging and controlling is part of your own holographic self. So is resistance.

The biggest resistance and its most easily detectable indicator is resisting your resistance. Therefore, A smart and very Taoist solution is to accept the resistance as it is.

Please remember that feelings and thoughts are like the clouds in the sky. No one can be responsible for the shape of the clouds when they create an indecent form in public.

Have a nice day.
