Let's discuss the subject.

«My Koan Horoscope»

(available in Taoísmo en Español)

1. He stays away from excessive luxury. (Ch.29 / Emptiness)

2. It is called the quintessence of Tao. (Ch. 14 / Good luck)

3. I alone am not clear. (Ch.20 / Little luck)

«From Yama Uba»

How bizarre to ask us to do such a thing!
You must have mistaken us for some other people.
You’d like us to sing the song of the hag!

Emptiness - Good luck - Little luck.

Do you wonder what is wrong with luxury? Do you wonder why Tao doesn't like excessive luxury or excess of any sort? Do you wonder why Tao is so incomprehensible? Do you wonder if the Orientals are hiding something behead this bizarre Taoism or that elitist Zen Buddhism? What the Valet in Yama Uba the Zen play says is simple: "Tao wants us to sing the song of Tao." In other words, Tao wants you to emit Tao. Zen Master Dogen puts it this way: "Your life itself is Buddha!" You are Buddha/Tao itself. Your life is the manifestation of Buddha/Tao. If you know this, if you know that excessive luxury and luxurious excess are just catalysts without being attached to them, everything is "right".

Please try Koan Horoscope (although it is in Spanish).
