Tao Te Ching Chapter 77-9 Love & Excess

Today's Tao

Who can have excess and give it to the world under the sky? Only those with Tao can. (Ch.77)

You should avoid excess.

It's even better if you reduce and reduce everything till you have nothing left. (☞See Tao by Matsumoto / Tao Te Ching Chapter 48 / Reduce and reduce)

"The world under the sky" is your hologram, remember?

So, be generous to the rest of your holographic world.

A: "Master Bonbon, I want to help poor children in Japan. What should I do?"

B: "Send the latest Nintendo 7DS video game consoles. Some may have lost theirs. Others have old consoles, on which they cannot play holographic games."

Whether you give something to someone materially or not, you are sending Love to the world.

Send Love as generously as you get completely detached from your holographic world.

Then, you will remember that you are always one with Tao.

Only you can send Love.

No one else.

Lao Tzu answers your question!

Nin 任 means "to give responsibility to someone". If you add kyo 侠, Ninkyo 任侠 signifies "gallantry", which sometimes implies a gangster. Ten 天 means "Heaven or sky" like the spanish word "cielo". If you add ka 下, Tenka signifies "under the sky", which is normally a synonym of "the whole world". Do 堂 means "a hall, a shrine, or a temple". If you add Ninten 任天, Nintendo 任天堂 means "the temple of doing nothing" or "the hall of trusting Heaven", which can be used outside Japan as the name of the video game consoles they sell. Nintendo has been contributing their creative toys to our good memories of childhood in the country for many decades. Therefore, it is impossible for the Japanese boys and the men who once were boys to use the company's name only as the name of the video games.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 48-3 Do nothing / video

Today's Tao

By doing nothing, you can do everything. (Ch.48)

Japan stories

The Japanese are tired now. Not only the old ones, but also the young ones.

Especially the young male Japanese are very tired. Some of them are even too exhausted to make love.

The girls call them herbivore boys.

Men with a vital libido who do not miss a chance to "eat the meat of a girl" are considered carnivore.

Carnivore boys do not mind hanging around all night to look for their prey at Roppongi in Tokyo. On the other hand, the herbivore prefer staying at home without wasting energy.

The choice between them has nothing to do with the attractiveness of his personality or appearance. Herbivore boys are not necessarily ugly nor have bad manners. Some of them are good-looking and gentlemanly.

Simply, they do not have desire to follow his prey and to devour her heart and body. The herbivore boys are not interested in those "trifle" matters. There are much more important things in life. For example, taking the photos of trains and playing Loveplus on Nintendo DS.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 18-1 Tao out of use / video

Today's Tao

After great Tao has fallen out of use, we have "morality of love" and its rules. (Ch.18)

Rules are strict in Japan.

At the platform in a railway station, you can hear something like:

"The train will depart at 8:47AM thirty second."

And it does exactly at the time.

In the train, you may find some Japanese men standing by the conductor's booth and staring at him.

They are admirers of the excellent train control by the conductor.

These days in Tokyo, you can have your own fans if you are a train conductor.

Thanks to Nintendo's «Ressha de Go (Go by train/ a train simulator)», those fans know all the regulations and hazards at any station in Yamanote Line.

Of course, they know perfectly where hazard signals and speed limit panels are.

Lao Tzu doesn't like rules, but some surely do.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 11-7 Nothingness is working

Today's Tao

Thus, something can be useful because nothingness is working. (Ch.11)

"Nothingness" means Tao.

Tao is working behind all the material beings.

Nothingness is you. (True You are Tao.)

You project your body.

You project everything in your mind. (Even your mind itself.)

Nothingness is working because you are working.

Nintendo: "Do nothing" Corporation

New Article

Today, a new article on Nintendo is posted.

"Ninten" means «to leave one's destiny to Heaven». This "do" has nothing to do with Tao. It is just a homonym. (There are too many homonyms in Japanese and it must be hard to learn it as a foreign language)

This "do" means a pavilion originally, but has been commonly used as a part of a shop's name.

So, Nintendo can be interpreted as «a company that leaves its destiny to Heaven».

Well, it is a nice attitude which Lao Tzu may like.

"Do nothing" Corporation has conquered the Video Game universe.
