Tao Te Ching Chapter 50-1 Life non-life
Today's Tao
Leave life and enter non-life. (Ch.50)
"Leave" your hologram and "enter" Tao.
Having said that, you don't have to do anything particular to do it.
First, your own self cannot leave life.
Master Dogen illustrates this with a good metaphor of a fish in the water in his Shobogenzo. (Genjokoan 現成公案)
Self cannot live outside your hologram.
Second, true You, which is Tao, are already in non-life.
Life is a hologram, which you project. True You are not part of it.
"Leave life and enter non-life" means "remember these".
