Tao Te Ching Chapter 72-3 Unsatisfactory

Today's Tao

It's simply unsatisfactory. That's why they are not satisfied. (Ch.72)

A: "Master Bonbon, I am not content. I am not satisfied. What's wrong with me?"

B: "The world is full of injustice. You must do something to change this stupid world. Donate all of your family fortune and meditate for thirty years!"

C'mon, Master Bonbon. You are the stupid one.

Stop your idiocies and listen to what Lao Tzu is telling us here.

Your hologram, which you call this world, is perfect although it seems to you "unsatisfactory" sometimes.

Your judgement causes this.

But don't worry.

Although you are not supposed to judge, there is nothing wrong with your judging things if you cannot help it.

It is part of your hologram.

You just have to know that it is perfectly all right if you are not satisfied.

It's "Tao's fear", the unsatisfactoriness of perfection.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 58-5 Eternal cycle

Today's Tao

No one knows the end of this cycle. (Ch.58)

Fortune and misfortune, Yin and Yang, Tao and holograms; all of them are the same, the same eternal cycle. (☞See Ch.59)

This cycle is the prayer wheel and the wheel of Buddha's manifestation (=Horin 法輪).

Of course, no one knows its end because there is no end.

No one knows its beginning, either, because there is no beginning.

That's why in Buddhism they say:

"No life, no end of life / 不生不滅 [fusho fumetsu]".

In other words, we are living in the eternal cycle, which is the constant beginning.

Fortune and misfortune are one.

Yin and Yang are one.

Tao and holograms are one.

Then, why do they appear different?

In order to give us an opportunity to remember that they are one.

☞It is a good idea to read and compare these two books on Samurai. Inazo Nitobe was a Christian and wrote «Bushido: The soul of Japan» in 1900. Bushido signifies "The way of Samurai / Tao of Samurai". Yamamoto, Tsunetomo was a real Samurai and "wrote" «Hagakure: The art of Samurai» about 1716. Hagakure signifies "Hidden by the leaves".

Tao Te Ching Chapter 58-4 Misfortune = Fortune

Today's Tao

Misfortune hides in fortune. (Ch.58)

I sincerely hope you have read or watched the video blog Favour 13-4 because the story of «Old Sai's horse» teaches us the Taoist attitude.

Now let's discuss why.

First.

What is Tao?

Tao is the constant change of the energy flow.

It needs to change.

Second.

To create and stimulate the change of the flow, we have holograms.

Third.

Tao creates holograms, and holograms stimulate Tao.

This is the Yin Yang cycle.

Fourth.

Fortune and misfortune are part of the hologram.

To maintain the cycle, fortune provokes misfortune, and vice versa.

The important thing is that all of them are one without time or space.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 58-3 Fortune = Misfortune

Today's Tao

Fortune leans on misfortune. (Ch.58)

Some people say:

"Fortune and misfortune are neighbors".

They are the two sides of the same coin.

There is a funny story about this fact of life.

Please read or watch the video blog Favour 13-4.

Sai ou ga Uma 塞翁が馬 [Sa Ong Ji Ma 塞翁之馬], which means «Old Sai's horse», is a Japanese proverb from the Chinese philosophical classic Enanji 淮南子 [Huainanzi].

This old man Sai always say "You never know" and he doesn't judge any.

Let's discuss the reason along with Tomorrow's sentence.

☞It is like wine. Sometimes we have a grand cru. Sometimes don't. Here we have two excellent Japanese novelists, true grands crus. Masaji Ibuse's «Salamander» is a short story. A salamander has got too big to get out of a cave. Koda Rohan belonged to the old school of Japanese writers. In «The Five-storied Pagoda», the author illustrates the confrontation of the egos of two artists / carpenters specialized in the construction of temples and shrines. I wonder when the Japanese last enjoyed a grand cru year of literature.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 52-9 The light

Today's Tao

Use its light. Return to its enlightenment. Then, your body's bad luck will disappear. (Ch.52)

"Light" is Love, Tao, Buddha, Zen, Amida, Absolute, or whatever you would like to call the fundamental energy.

Through the objects you see, the acts you do, and the thoughts you bear, you receive the light.

When you receive the light, you should return it to its origin.

But how?

Well, you do nothing.

Because life itself is Satori, or enlightenment.

Don't be terrified by "Your body's bad luck".

All disasters and misfortunes are your hologram projected by you.

You are always safe because true You are Tao.

You are just in the state of being lost, Mayoi.

The disasters and misfortunes are catalysts to stimulate you to emit more love.

Remember Mayoi is not an antonym of Satori.

☞Yakuza やくざ. "Ya や" is hachi 八, which means eight in Japanese. "Ku く" nine 九. "Za ざ" indicates san 三, which is three. Eight 8, nine 9, and three 3 make twenty 20. The last digit of twenty is zero 0. In a traditional game Hana Fuda, (for which Nintendo was known before the invention of Ultra Hand by Gunpei Yokoi, the father of Super Mario Brothers), zero is the point you get when you have the cards of eight, nine and three points. Therefore, the expression "yakuza" signifies uselessness, some think.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 38-12 Foreknowledge

Today's Tao

What you call foreknowledge is the flower of Tao and the beginning of stupidity. (Ch.38)

Foreknowledge, telling something before it happens, has been fascinating men for a long time.

But, right here Lao Tzu says it is the beginning of stupidity.

It is logic because there is no time in Tao.

Foretelling doesn't exist. Don't let stupidity reign over your mind.

"Flower" suggests superficiality and holography.

In Buddhism, they use the expression of 法華 [hokke], the flowers of manifestation.

It is you who are creating your hologram.

Why do you need someone else to tell you about it?

Tao Te Ching Chapter 20-4 Blur

Today's Tao

It blurs, and has not been exhausted! (Ch.20)

"Madame, I can see your future clearly."

"Sir, with our financial portfolios, you can have a clear and definite investment plan of your family fortune."

No clairvoyants or financial advisers see your blurred future.

But Tao does.

Not just the future, Tao see your blurred past and blurred present.

Because everything takes place simultaneously without space or time.

Tao is not tangible, but has no limit. It is omnipresent and eternal.

Tao is nothing and everything.

Ask a Taoist clairvoyant what is the best financial strategy.

He will answer:

"Do nothing."

No stimulation, in principle. Video

Today's Tao

If they don't look at what stimulates their desire, people's mind will stay calm. [Ch.3]

Please see No stimulation, in principle. for the text.

The photo above is a mass of Japanese fortune-telling sheets. You pay a small sum of money for the paper which tells your fortune.

If you are not happy about your future, you tie the piece of paper on a branch of a tree in the precinct of a shrine or a temple.

Thus, you leave your bad fortune behind and forget it. Everything is pragmatic in the country of a Nintendo. If you don't like the result, you push the "Reset" button.

Here, interestingly, we see the paper tied on the strings. It seems that the people of the temple got sick and tired of cleaning the mess on the trees and invented a better system.

Everyday a new entree!
