Today's Tao
Many people are having fun as if they were invited to a feast or as if they went up to a terrace in spring. (Ch.20)
In the following sentences, Lao Tzu explains what 玄同 [gen do] is. This is the state of being one with Tao.
But before that, he pictures the image of people having fun.
The word "people" often suggests a hologram.
The people in your hologram have many activities.
Sometimes, they have fun.
Sometimes, they get depressed.
