Tao Te Ching Chapter 41-3 Born from you

Today's Tao

Everything under the sky is born from you. (Ch.41)

What are things?

What is existence?

It is your own self.

Zen master Dogen says:

"You extend yourself and make you the world."

われを排列しおきて尽界とせり [ware o hairetsu shiokite jinkai to seri]

(Uji 有時 , «Shobogenzo»)

The master says clearly:

Time = Things = Self.

Your own self is the mother of the world.

For it projects the hologram of the world, including your own self.

Why including your own self?

Because the world IS your own self.

It is the projector and projected at the same time.

That's why there is no difference between your own self and the rest of the world.

That's why I ask you not to judge.

This is another Kanreisu (a bar / spring) of Zen and Tao.

Tao answers your question!

☞When the black rain falls, someone cries. Do you know even Godzilla cries? He sheds radioactive tears. He was just a lizard when human beings tested their nuclear bomb. Please read the last sequences of Masuji Ibuse's «Black Rain». When the black rain falls, a young woman cries. No, she doesn't cry. When one suffers from his profound injustice, tears do not come out. Instead, she faces her destiny with desperate sense of humor. Please laugh shedding tears for her. ☞[Note] According to the plot in the original "Gojira / Godzilla" released in 1954, Dr Kyohei Yamane thinks: "It was a gigantic animal of two million years ago, in the middle of the evolution from an aquatic reptile to a land mammal. A nuclear experiment woke it up".
