Tao Te Ching Chapter 73 Heaven's net (playlist)

Why is understanding Taoism or Zen Buddhism considered difficult? It's simple. It is because of the ambiguous English translations.

The Kanji / Chinese character 心 [shin] is often translated as heart or mind.

Like the English word "heart", it also signifies "the center".

The word 心 [shin] suggests the center of the mechanism.

I shin den shin means "by the mechanism, transmit the mechanism".

In this Tao/hologram mechanism, everything comes about by itself, 自然 [ji nen].

What is "Heaven's net"?

It is the net of Tao's energy, which covers everything in your hologram.

"Daruma / Bodhidharma 達磨 did not come to East Land (=China). The Second Ancestor did not go to West Heaven (=India)."

"Gensha's answer 'Daruma / Bodhidharma 達磨 did not come to East Land' was not a ridiculous remark of whether he came or not. It is the principle that lands have no earth at all". (Dogen)

Tao Te Ching Chapter 62 Treasure (playlist)

In this chapter, we discuss the treasure. What is the treasure? Very often I quote Zen Master Dogen's «Shobogenzo 正法眼蔵». "Shobo 正法" means authentic manifestation (=right teachings); "gen 眼", an eye; "zo 蔵", a storage.

The treasure is your hologram (=eye storage).

There are some spiritual treasures in Chapter 62.

One of them is Shinran and Honen's Akunin shoki setsu 悪人正機説: the Doctrine of Evil Persons as the Object of Salvation.
